Using BIM saves time and money
BIM enables more effective integrated project information to be shared and easily managed. Which means possible problems can be tackled in good time, minimising the need for costly reworks or project delays.
We currently have four main sites in the heart of Leicester
All of which are intended for student accommodation purposes, and all four sites are due for completion in August this year.
Consisting of four phases, two of which are refurbishments to the existing buildings, one is a brand new build and the last is an extension/overbuild. One of the refurbishments has been completed, whilst the remaining three elements of Newarke Street are due for completion in August this year.
The completed refurbishment consists of 30 flats/76 beds.
Phase two consists of 61 flats/152 beds.
The overbuild will have 3 flats/9 beds.
Lastly, phase three will have 25 flats/54 beds.
This is a major development contract which comprises of three buildings, two of which are of traditional construction and the third of the metal framed construction in close association with Fusion. When completed, Brookland Road will consist of 80 flats/ 224 beds.
This has a total of 24 flats/95 beds, of which the majority is a refurbishment to an existing build with a small element that is new build.
Consisting of 25 flats/ 30 beds over 5 floors, Clyde Street is also a refurbishment, which is built between an existing build.
In addition to this we have several smaller housing development projects underway. We have the capacity and hunger for more work like this.
